It all started when a group of students of the AUTh School of Architecture, driven only by their love of and shared interest in photography, felt the need to organise and create a group where they could work on photography together, share experiences and exchange views. This is how the School of Architecture Photography Club (F.L.A.S.H.) was founded.
Since then, its members have been renewed year after year and keep creating with the same enthusiasm, in a group that now includes people from various schools and disciplines of the university community.
The group meets every week in a room in the basement of the Architecture Wing, with a fully equipped darkroom. The meetings include theory and technique lessons as well as darkroom lessons. To give members hands-on practice, photo walks are organised regularly, where everyone can develop their photographic talent in practice.
F.L.A.S.H. is open to anyone who wants to share their interest in photography.
